The Véloroute des Bleuets looped circuit was the first project to have been introduced within the Route Verte initiative. Today, it is – more than ever – one of the finest biking destinations around. This complete and diversified looped circuit around Lac St-Jean guarantees 256 km of unforgettable biking pleasure and discovery.
An easy level circuit :
- 90% of the network is paved and the rest is surfaced with stone dust.
- The network is made up of 31% bike paths, 27% designated road surfaces, and 42% paved shoulders.
- Easy-to-intermediate level throughout.
- There are only 3 slopes of 9% or more
Mile Posts :
Mileposts are set up along the side of the circuit to enable you to situate yourself on the maps. They begin and end at Sainte-Monique-de-Honfleur. It was in this town that the very first groundbreaking ceremony took place in 1998
36 rest areas :
There are 36 rest areas along the network, identified by the pictogram above and absolutely free. They are easy to find thanks to the mileposts. They are equipped with picnic tables, waste receptacles, and bicycle racks.
